OCR: The Tomb of Huangdi the Yellow Emperor Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor, is a legendary man named Xuanyuan, who is regarded as the ancestor of all nationalities on the central plains. He was said to have mounted a dragon at Huangling county in Shaanxi Province and ascended to heaven. A tomb was thus built there to honor him. Even today, at the Qingming Festival, the day in April to honor the dead, visitors from home and abroad hold grand worship ceremonies in Huangling county.
